Rachel Marcus, Au.D./CCC-A/FAAA

Dr. Rachel Marcus earned her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from The Graduate Center, City University of New York (CUNY) in 2013, and her Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University in 2004. She completed her residency at The Ear Center of Greensboro in North Carolina. Dr. Marcus is a licensed Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser in New York State, a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA), and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Dr. Marcus has extensive experience in both hospital and private practice settings, conducting audiological tests such as Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) and Otoacoustic Emissions (OAEs) for patients of all ages. She specializes in hearing aid services, including evaluations, fittings, and adjustments for various devices, including hearing aids, cochlear implants, bone-anchored hearing aids (BAHA, Ponto, Soundbite), and other implantable hearing devices (Maxum™, EsteemĀ®). Dr. Marcus is also fluent in Spanish.

Her areas of interest include unilateral hearing loss, congenital conductive hearing losses (such as microtia and atresia), advanced hearing aid technology, and assistive listening devices.
