Sheila Apicella

Dr. Sheila Apicella earned her undergraduate degree from Barnard College and her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. She completed a pre-residency fellowship at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital and her residency at the University of Pittsburgh Eye and Ear Institute, ranked among the top five programs in the country. Board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Apicella specializes in minimally invasive endoscopic sinus surgery, sinus disease management, head and neck surgery, sleep-disordered breathing, ear diseases, and pediatric otolaryngology. She is an Assistant Attending Physician at several New York City hospitals, including Beth Israel Medical Center, and an Associate Attending at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx.

Dr. Apicella is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Medical Association, and the Bronx County Medical Society, and is repeatedly listed in the Guide to America’s Top Physicians for the New York Metro area.
