Earlens Hearing Aid

How Does it Work?

Many conventional hearing aids use small speakers to amplify sound, which can lead to feedback and hinder your ability to hear and understand others, often discouraging users. In contrast, the Earlens Hearing Aid employs an innovative approach: it uses a small lens placed on your eardrum that activates your hearing system through light rather than amplified sound. This cutting-edge technology provides rich, comprehensive hearing for individuals with hearing loss.

What Are the Benefits?

Alleviates the sense of “blocked ears” and allows for more natural sound, automatically adjusting to your environment.

Offers the broadest frequency range on the market and produces both low- and high-pitch sounds while being less susceptible to excessive acoustic feedback.

Utilizes rechargeable batteries that hold a full day’s charge and recharge wirelessly in just 4 hours.

How Does the Earlens Hearing Aid Work?

The Earlens Hearing Aid employs cutting-edge technology to provide rich and natural sound without relying on small speakers that can create feedback. Instead of amplified sound, it uses light and a custom eardrum vibration lens to stimulate the eardrum. The process starts when the behind-the-ear processor captures sound and transmits it to the in-ear light-emitting diode tip. The light is then converted into sound, which stimulates the lens, producing audible sound that enhances your hearing experience.
